4SP have been learning about area and perimeter this week. During one lesson the children worked together to solve problems of calculating area and perimeter. It was another great lesson.
Can you try to complete the following calculations using your new maths skills:
4367 x 7 =
4356 + 3333 =
4562 – 2109 =
557 divided by 25 =
Comment with your answers and show me your working in class. Who will be the first to complete the questions?
4SP are learning how to play netball this half-term. During our first two lessons we practised chest and bounce passing and this week we will be trying out other types of passing. Should any of you want to consider playing netball at the weekends there are plenty of clubs around and one meets every Saturday morning at the UEA Sportspark. Great to see 4SP so enthusiastic about PE – well done!
Mr Phillips was pleased to see Amelie Jay and Georgia Salih turn up for the Junior Parkrun on Sunday.
Mr Phillips volunteers as a marshal every week for the Junior Park Run and he would be delighted to see more children from West Earlham entering the race. Find out more here.
