Learning about 3D shapes

Today in maths, 4SP learnt how to create 3D shapes using art straws and plasticine. As a starter, we counted in decimals and practised our fluency skills converting units of measure.

Then, we discussed the properties of 3D shapes to assess our current understanding. We all remembered that when describing a 3D shape we need to use the correct terminology: faces, vertices (vertex singular) and edges.
